Full-time
This is a floating position providing cover for holidays and specific production requirements across both day and night shifts. Candidates will receive a minimum of two weeks’ notice for shift allocations.
Initial training will take place on the day shift until company standards are achieved. Following this, the successful candidate will move onto a 4-week rotating shift pattern. Further details will be discussed during the interview process.
Average 39 hours per week
Weeks 1–3: 3 × 12-hour shifts
Week 4: 4 × 12-hour shifts
Includes a 30-minute paid break
Shift Times:
Days: 06:00 – 18:00
Nights: 18:00 – 06:00
£25,230 per annum
Assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of bindery machine equipment
Follow job bag instructions to ensure all work is completed accurately
Load machines with printed material as required
Feed machinery with covers, folders, and other components
Participate in quality control checks to ensure accuracy and standards
Prepare finished products for despatch
Maintain excellent housekeeping in work areas
Report any issues or concerns to the Bindery Team Leader
Comply with all Health & Safety regulations and company policies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Good organisational and time-management abilities, with mechanical aptitude
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Proactive approach to problem-solving
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently and within a team
Flexible, positive, can-do attitude
