Description

We are looking for a skilled Sheetfed Litho Printer to operate our brand-new Komori G37 LED UV 5-colour press.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring high-quality print production, maximising press performance and maintaining our high standards of quality and efficiency.

Immediate start available for the successful candidate.

Working Hours

Average 39 hours per week
12-hour rotating shifts, covering both days and nights
Day shift: 06:00 – 18:00
Night shift: 18:00 – 06:00
Includes a 30-minute paid break
Shift pattern: 3 weeks working 3 shifts, followed by 1 week working 4 shifts

Salary

£38,800 per annum

Responsibilities

Set up and operate our Komori G37 5-colour LED UV press
Maintain excellent colour consistency, ink control and registration in line with ISO standards
Carry out make-readies and routine press maintenance
Work confidently with LED UV/UV inks, varnishes and aqueous coatings
Maximise press output while maintaining exceptional print quality
Identify and report maintenance or breakdown requirements to the Production Manager
Work closely with senior management and colleagues across the production team
Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment
Follow all Health & Safety, Environmental and Company policies and procedures

Job Requirements

We're looking for someone who can bring proven experience and technical knowledge to the role.

Essential:

Proven experience as a Sheetfed UV Litho Printer
Previous experience operating Heidelberg, MAN Roland or Mitsubishi presses
Good knowledge of LED UV systems, inks, varnishes and coatings
Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on print quality
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Excellent timekeeping and attendance
Good housekeeping standards
A positive, reliable and can-do attitude
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing workloads and production schedules
Commitment to Health & Safety, Environmental and Company procedures

Desirable:

Experience operating a Komori G37 or G40 press
