The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of practical skills to undertake various maintenance, repair, and installation tasks across multiple disciplines whilst making sure safety standards are met.
37.5 hours per week. Monday - Friday 08.30am - 16.30pm (includes 1 x 30-minute unpaid break)
Salary: £31,200 per annum
Plumbing - Repairs such as leak fixing, pipework, and fixture installation
Electrical -Including wiring and fixture installation
Painting - Painting projects both interior and exterior
Repairs and Maintenance - Installing doors, stud walling, general joinery tasks, oil and greasing, filter cleaning and replacement
Masonry work - Brickwork, cement and surface repairs
Any other additional duties
Proven experience in carpentry, roofing, construction painting, plumbing, masonry, welding, and electrical work
Proficient with hand tools such as hammers, saws, screwdrivers, chisels
Skilled in operating power tools including drills, grinders, saws, and sanders
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to repairs and maintenance
Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
Physically fit with the capability to perform manual labour in various environments
Strong attention to detail ensuring quality workmanship across all tasks
Forklift license (would be advantageous)
