Paid for Title Apps
Paid for download with in-App subscriptions:
How does it work?
- Apple takes 30% of the App download price. For example, if the magazine App retails at say £2.99, Apple would take 90p. Of the remaining 70%, you the Publisher will receive 60% of the remaining revenue for each App sold (for example £1.25) and PageSuite/Acorn share the 40% (84p).
- It is recommended that the App download fee and per edition in-App subscriptions should be priced between 50% and 100% of the print cover price for one edition of the publication. App Store pricing must match their price matrix eg. £0.59, £1.19, £1.79, £2.39, £2.99, £3.49, £3.99, £4.99, £5.49 upwards etc
- New editions of the publication will be available to purchase via in-App subscriptions as either a single issue purchase or a three-month or six month issue purchase.
- If the customer only buys a single issue, they will get a reminder when a new issue is available to download.
- Each edition of the publication must be at least 20 pages in length.
- Once the magazine is completed, all files can be uploaded to our FTP site either by the Publisher or by us, the Printer.
- PageSuite will collect the download revenue on behalf of the client and will produce a monthly download statement which will be forwarded on. Once a month PageSuite will pass on to the client 60% of the net download revenue received.
- The publication must carry a banner advertisement on the contents page of the printed version of the magazine and on their website to help promote the App - monthly is recommended.
